An Outstanding Journey in the World of Freeride
Originally from Nendaz, Switzerland, Richard Amacker is a professional skier widely recognized for his expertise in freeride.
He started skiing at the age of two and dedicated 16 years to alpine skiing before shifting to freeride in 2008.
Since then, he has accumulated notable successes, including two wins at the Freeride World Qualifiers and a victory at his first participation in the Freeride World Tour in 2012 in Chamonix.
Despite suffering an injury in 2013, Richard made a strong comeback, finishing 8th overall in the Freeride World Tour 2014 and securing a podium finish in Fieberbrunn.
A Passion for Sharing and Teaching
Beyond his competitive career, Richard shares his passion as a ski coach and influencer.
He offers personalized ski days in the 4 Vallées area, providing carving courses, freeride sessions, and unique on-slope experiences.
